The Laboratory for Access to Justice and Inequalities - LADES is an initiative that unites efforts to deepen the debate on access to justice, protection, and the expansion of the recognition of rights in the Americas, from a critical and multidisciplinary approach.
Specifically, the Laboratory is dedicated to conducting academic and technical studies and research on access to justice, the guarantee of fundamental rights, anti-discrimination law, the justice system, particularly the judiciary, the use of new technologies in judicial services, justice and democracy, citizenship, and public transparency, among other topics.
Based at the Faculty of Law of the University of Brasília – UnB, LADES promotes research, extension, and technical projects by bringing together researchers, professionals, undergraduate and graduate students from various fields of human knowledge and different regions of Brazil and the Americas.
Among the actions developed by LADES are short courses, lectures, scientific events, publications, and diverse research projects.
